Keke Palmer Wears 1985 Chanel Gown at 2025 SAG Awards Famously Worn by Jamie Lee Curtis

Keke Palmer had a vintage moment at the 2025 SAG Awards.

On Sunday, Feb. 23, the actress, 31, arrived to the Los Angeles award show in a stunning 1985 archival Chanel gown that was previously worn by Jamie Lee Curtis.

The figure-hugging black velvet dress features an intricate gold detail at the neckline and was paired with black opera gloves and black Armani pumps. The One of Them Days star also wore jewelry by Brilliant Earth.

Palmer’s copper-red hair was styled into a voluminous bob and she wore bold red lipstick for a pop of color.

Curtis, 66, wore the gown at the First Annual American Cinematheque Award Salute to Eddie Murphy on February 28, 1986. For the event, which took place at the Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles, the Halloween actress also wore black opera gloves as well as oversized gold earrings.

Palmer’s stylist, Molly Dickson, shared a throwback photo of Curtis in the Chanel ensemble to her Instagram Stories.

As for Curtis’ SAG Awards look, the actress channeled her film The Last Showgirl in a showgirl-inspired sparkling black gown with a voluminous feathered bolero. She is nominated for outstanding performance by a female actor in a supporting role the Gia Coppola-directed flick, which also stars Pamela Anderson.

This has been an eventful weekend for Palmer. At Saturday evening’s NAACP Image Awards, the star took home the prize for entertainer of the year.

Palmer pulled off a glam moment in what appeared to be a black Versace corset dress inspired by the brand’s AW24 collection, which she teamed with a vintage Dior couture by John Galliano 1998 choker and matching strappy heels.

The actress and podcaster sported long straight honey copper hair and for her makeup, a deep red smoky eye and shiny nude lipstick. She completed her look with a pair of large embellished stud earrings.
